Since the 1990’S, with opening to the outside world and sustain and rapid growth of Chinese economy, Chinese coatings industry has obtained rapid development, China already become one of largest coating produce country. With the hot and world widely competition of coatings industry, the enterprise in order to survive and rapid growth in bloodily market competition, Merger and Acquisition (M&A) play a very important role in the development strategy.Hunan Xiangjiang Paint Group Co., Ltd. is a large integrated enterprise specializing in researching and manufacturing coatings and resins. The group have all-inclusive of products, and advance process, and strong research ability, and have stable sale marekt and maturely sale channel, but it brand has region limit. The Group Merged the Zhengzhou Double Towers Coating Co., Ltd. by full funding at 2005, and through effective integration get high speed development, and reached it’s expand strategy goal.This article case on Hunan Xiangjiang Paint Group’s M&A, and integrate use correlative M&A. theory to the case. Use SWOT method to understand the strategy background, and analysis the direct motive of the Hunan Xiangjiang Paint Group’s M&A, design the scheme of integration, then detail analysis the strategy, culture, organize stricture, human resource and culture integration policy, and also evaluate the result of its deployment of the merging. In the last part, this article summarize the whole case and get the inspiration of it.
