Abstract


In the world,service industry is becoming the important engine of the national economic growth,is a main impetus that makes the modern economy keep on developing quickly.The situation and level of economic development have been an important criterion in measuring the level of economic development,and also show the stage in the process of the economic development and in a country and an area. Compared with the other provinces of our country,the service industry of HeNan province has many problems,such as small scale,irrational structure,out-of-date technology,low efficiency and poor competitiveness.So it is a big problem which need to be solve as soon as possible that promoting the competitiveness of service industry.In this paper,based on the brief review of existing service industrial competitiveness,and sort out the competitiveness of industries and its content of thetheory,and based on the basic principles of evaluation of the development of service industrial competitiveness,the author established a service industrial competitiveness evaluation index system,got the scores of competitiveness of service industry of 31 provinces,Municipalities and Autonomous Regions by principal component analytic method in Multi-Variate Statistical Analysis and concluded the primary influential factors on competitiveness of service industry.This paper compared the scores of competitiveness of service industry of HeNan province with that of other provinces and found out the advantages and disadvantages,and and then put forward some policy recommendations which could be helpful to the service industrial competitiveness of HeNan province.The main contents are as follows:The first part is Introduction:it introduced the background of the topics,the significance,organized a major service industrial competitiveness of related concepts,the researchat home and abroad,the objectives,methods of the research and study.The second part is the framework of service industrial competitiveness evaluation system,which is mainly on the principle of the evaluation of the regional industrial competitiveness.It established a service industrial competitiveness evaluation system.The third and fourth part are parts of empirical research to support the second part of the service industrial competitiveness comprehensive evaluation model concerning 31 provinces,Municipalities and Autonomous Regions industries to evaluate the competitiveness of the study.They compared the scores of competitiveness of service industry of HeNan province with that of other provinces and found out the advantages and disadvantages.PartⅤis the concluding part of this paper,it put forward some policy recommendations which could promote the service industrial competitiveness of HeNan province.
