Abstract


The rapid development of the world economy , and knowledge changing times , making it increasingly fierce competition among enterprises , the logistics industry as an important source of profits for a modern national economy in this environment, but also set off a development boom . In the new environment , more and more diverse customer requirements , personalization, how to quickly and efficiently meet the requirements of customers , many enterprises are facing the problem . At the same time , the customer demand for commodities is increasingly uncertain , which makes difficult to predict customer demand , so we need to store a certain amount of goods to meet the needs of customers , at a time logistics management inventory management is particularly important , how much inventory is directly related to the ability to meet customer demand , excess inventory and shortages will weaken the profitability and market competitiveness of the enterprises themselves , how to achieve equilibrium of supply and demand , need to effectively manage and control inventory . From the analysis of the status of northwest logistics center supplies inventory management starting characteristics and inventory management status of the Northwest logistics center to identify the main problems in its inventory management . Further northwest logistics center inventory management optimization study , through the analysis of the demand structure of the northwest logistics center , and the use of knowledge in operations research and mathematical statistics , when the random changes in the demand for inventory control optimization model , the analysis shows the examples the proposed model can not only reduce logistics costs , increase corporate profits , but also enhance the competitiveness of enterprises .
