Abstract


Since 1997, China began to establish securities investment fund, the fund industry in our country has gained rapid development. As of the end of 2007, the number of funds in China amounted to 363, including 317 open-end funds, closed-end funds 37 4, QDII funds, ETF funds 5. The rapid development of the fund industry has played an important role in the prosperity and stability of the securities market and broaden the channels for investors to invest in. Open-end fund because of its collective investment, risk diversification, professional financial characteristics has always been considered to be a less risky investment products, and their risk even in the case of rising securities markets in 2007 and was for a time many people ignore, but in the first quarter of 2008 securities market continued to decline since the open market value of the fund has shrunk dramatically so many investors in a quandary. Therefore, to explore and establish a viable open-end fund performance evaluation model has important theoretical and practical significance. Closed-end funds in the existing literature discusses more but less open-end fund performance evaluation research, especially the historical data analysis of the funds thus providing intuitive the investment reference to the study less. This paper attempts through the analysis of historical data of open-end funds, the use of a the theoretical pricing method to measure the D value, and to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the sort of open-end fund, to provide a reference for the establishment of the fund performance evaluation system, but also for investors open-end fund varieties provide an objective, scientific reference. The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter of this paper made a general introduction, and detailed description of the research background and significance of the article, at Home and Abroad, ideas and goals, may innovation and deficiencies. The second chapter describes the practical significance of the open-end fund research, a comprehensive introduction to the various elements of the securities investment fund, recalled the history of the development of the fund industry. The third chapter describes the theoretical background of the open-end fund research, fund performance evaluation of various theories briefly review and discuss the differences and relations between various theories. The fourth chapter is the core of this paper, a method of open-end fund performance evaluation: theoretical pricing method, described in detail the theoretical basis of the model assumptions and model specific content. The fifth chapter is the practical application of the theory of pricing, made a systematic calculation of the open-end fund market, the draw of the overall state of the open-end fund; calculated and sorted only open-end fund investment options for investors provide an objective reference. The sixth chapter is the end of this article, a summary of articles and put forward some outlook.
