Abstract


With the continuous development of the city , the number of migrant workers in the city more and more the resulting migrant workers living more and more obvious . July 2008 to August , I Hanyang District , Wuhan City , some migrant workers congregate field survey , more diverse migrant workers living in the city , they live mainly in the villages in the city and part of the old town of the city outskirts dilapidated buildings , and some among the living in riverside shanty housing and employment units shed . The reason there are several aspects : from migrant workers , they have low incomes , poor economic capacity , and secondly they have to take into account the education of their children , once again they have to take into account the convenience of the work ; from city ??side, the cities of migrant workers absorbed largely economic , institutional exclusion , quality urban living space and housing security system is not able to absorb migrant workers groups , which resulted in a poor migrant workers living environment , the increasingly closed living space , migrant workers are not strong sense of belonging to the city ; from rural , agricultural income is too low and the land requisition compensation and too little are the cause of migrant workers in the city is difficult to obtain a better living space reasons . The housing problem of the migrant workers is one of the important factors of the harmonious development of the city , poor governance, our city is very easy to generate a true sense of the slum , this will be very detrimental to the harmonious development of China 's cities . I believe that to solve the housing problem of the migrant workers , can be divided into short-term and long - term in two stages , the recent stage mainly the dormitory living standards improve labor units , standardize the management of urban rental housing market , a reasonable reconstruction and governance Villages ; from long-term , the government needs to establish a cover migrant workers urban housing system , the development of conditional migrant workers to low-rent housing ; the same time , the government should stand in the height of the urban and rural land requisition compensation standards must first improve , Second to landless migrant workers into the city housing security system .
