By analyzing wind resource, device selection, power generation estimation, construction condition, project investment and profitability, this article provides a Pre-Project Evaluation for Jiangsu South-Central 200MW Wind Farm Project (hereinafter "the Project"). First, this article makes a research to the conditions related to electric power of Jiangsu province and the south-central of China, such as regional development plan, demands on electricity and requirements to the energy structure optimization, the environment protection as well as sustainable development. Then this article gives a feasibility evaluation to the project through analyzing on the wind resource, grid connection system, traffic and transportation system and construction condition etc. Last, this article provides more detailed evaluation to the project in several aspects including engineering technology, construction process, investment and financial status. Based on those analyses mentioned in advance, this article makes a positive conclusion to the project, it is feasible in technology, engineering and finance.
