Abstract

With the developing of printing-dye industry, the printing and dyeing wastewater are having the huge influence to environment and human health,so the removal of its chromaticity has the vital significance to human survival and social sustained development. As a commonly used printing and dyeing waste water treatment method, the Chemical flocculation has lots of advantages, such as the simple craft,it is easy to operate, the wide application scope, low investment expenses. Therefore invent a kind of high effective, low consumption, safe and harmless flocculant has always as a central issue in printing and dyeing wastewater domain research. This article has determined the best synthesis technological conditions though understanding the origin, nature, harmful and the processing research of the printing-dye waste water,we also draw support from forefathers’ research experience, with the purpose of developing pharmaceutical of new high-efficient water treatment,we use epichlorohydrine and dimethylamine as the primary raw material to synthesize quaternary ammonium-based flocculants and take ethylene diamine as the crosslinking agent to synthesiz the poly epichlorohydrin-dimethylamine(EPI-DMA) which has much branched chain to determin the best synthesis technological conditions. And then,we give the appraisal to its flocculation performance and have discussed its flocculation mechanism. This rearch have done beneficial exploration and efforts to printing and dyeing wastewater treatment. The main research conclusions are as follows:1、The monomer ratio,cross-linking agent, polymerization temperature, monomer concentration and other factors could affect the viscosity and cationic of EPI-DMA flocculants. The best conditions of synthesis EPI-DMA polymer was that polymerization temperature was 70℃,n(epichlorohydrin):n(dimethylamine)=1.5:1,ethylenediamine accounted for 6%of the total monomer mass, total mass concentration of monomer was 65%, and polymerization time was 6 to 7h.2、The dosage, the temperature and pH of the wastewater, the viscosity and cationic degree of the folcculant have an effect on the flocculation decolorization process. To deal with the actual printing-dye waste water(dye-house wastewater in Xi’an Textile City) in the dosage of 250mg/L,the percent of decolorization may reach 80%and the COD elimination rate is 45%.Through the handling of oil waste water,we can see EPI-DMA also has better removal effect.3、Study on compound use of the PAC and EPI-DMA had shown that:PAC-EPI-DMA composite flocculants had a better decolorization effect in a simulated experiment. When its dosage was 80mg/L,decolorizing rate could reach more than 90%and reduced effectively dosage and the cost of treatment.Besides that 1:1’s mass ratio of composite process of PAC and EPI-DMA had relatively good decolorizing effect. We found that PAC-EPI-DMA Flocculation was influenced by the EPI-DMA viscosity,pH and other factors through the actual printing and dyeing wastewater treatment. And the best pH of flocculation process was 4 to 7.4,Using EPI-DMA modified bentonite, the experimental results showed that: Polyepichlorohydrin-Dimethylamine could effectively plug in the layer of the bentonite and increased the organic content of the bentonite. The optimum conditions were that adding 6.0% (ω) of EPI-DMA into bentonite suspension,at 80℃,pH was 7.0,reaction time was 2.0h. Modified EPI-DMA/Bentonite has a high decolorization to simulate the dye wastewater, more than 94%,significantly higher than the original soil.Meanwhile this enhanced the effect to remove heavy metal ions of the wastewater and laid a foundation for the further development and application of EPI-DMA.
