This article situ synthesis technology to prepare particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites. The use of two different reactants, one is an oxide (TiO 2 and B 2 O 3 powder), another is a salts (KBF 4 and K 2 of TiF 6 powder), in situ reaction ZL102 alloy prepared particle reinforced composites. Different preparation process parameters for enhanced particle given two different reactants preparation of particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite ideal process, comparing the organization shaped reinforcing particles in aluminum matrix composites synthesized by two different reactants Maung situ composites and aluminum enhanced relative to a reasonable choice, thermodynamics, kinetics, and strengthening mechanisms reinforcing phase formation were analyzed. Electron probe particle reinforced ZL102 situ composites enhanced phase morphology, structure and distribution of the test the ZL102 situ particle reinforced composite material hardness, by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, XRD test methods to characterize the microstructure and the main results obtained are as follows: (1) The experimental results show that: the reactants TiO 2 and B 2 O 3 powder ZL102 composite material was prepared in situ the ideal process parameters as follows: the reaction mixture was added to the form of compacts, was added to the reaction volume of 15%, reaction temperature is 900 ℃, the reaction time was 20 min, plus a greater stirring intensity. (2) The experiments showed that: 4 and K 2 the KBF of the reactant the TiF6 powder situ preparation ZL102 composite ideal process parameters: join can generate 1% TiB 2 KBF 4 and K , 2 of TiF 6 , the reaction temperature of 1000 ° C, the reaction time of 10 min. (3) The experimental results show that: the use of Al-TiO , 2 -B 2 O 3 System situ preparation of particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites, The synthetic composite material hardness than ZL102 increased by 37.3%. The (TiB 2 Al KFB 4 and K 2 TiF 6 mixed powder situ prepared 3 Ti) / ZL102 composite hardness than ZL102 increased by 60.3%. (4) the metallurgical microstructure analysis: α-Al sticks Jingjing particle size than the ZL102 ZL102 composites prepared in situ refined obviously, the eutectic silicon size in situ composites tiny silicon matrix. (5) EPMA analysis showed that: in situ composites TiB 2 enhanced phase is granular, Al 2 O 3 Enhanced phase for rock candy like Al 3 Ti enhancement phase of a long rod, these in-situ synthesis reinforcing phase particles are small and uniformly distributed in the α-Al matrix, and a good combination with the interface of the α-Al, the substrate has a significant fine grain strengthening effect. (6) strengthening mechanisms of particle reinforced situ aluminum matrix composites mainly fine grain strengthening, dispersion strengthening and dislocation strengthening.
