Abstract

The bees are the typical social insects, divided into three different class type: the queen bee, worker bees and drones. Which the queen bee and the worker bees are diploid derived from a fertilized egg, have the same genome, but they are nothing but there are significant differences in their external morphological characteristics and social function. There are many reasons why these differences produce, such as nutrition, hormones, gene regulation, and where external environmental factors. An important aspect of this study from two angles of the class-type characteristics and molecular biology, to explore and study nutritional factors - Pollen (tea pollen) water-soluble substances the bees-level differentiation. After limit Wang spawning, selection of newly hatched the Italian honeybee larvae placed within 1 ~ 3h same nurturing environment (temperature: 35.8 ° C; relative humidity: 85%) to cultivate. The larvae divided into group W and group Q groups, and to ensure the same between the two groups in addition to nutrition outside cultivation conditions, and nutritional conditions, the only difference is only in the group W larval food for added water extract of tea pollen, larval food for thought in the group Q did not add. The proportion of food for thought in other nutrients and ingredients to maintain a high degree of consistency between the two groups. Found no significant difference in survival rate (65%) and age daily weight, and newborn (natural state level corresponding comparison of experimental results show that the group W and group Q larvae) have reached the experimental success the required level, so the experiment was successful. Meaning bee level features analysis found that there are significant differences in group W and group Q larvae stage type characteristics: the group W larvae Daily males, birth weight, and the development trend of the age daily weight, duration of post-embryonic development external level type characteristics and the degree of development of the bee ovarian significant differences with the group Q larvae exist. group W larvae each state of nature Italian honeybee colonies worker bees is similar to the group Q larvae similar with the queen bee. Ultimate success in the molecular biology level by mRNA differential display screening of Italian honeybee larvae class differentiation critical period (3 to 4.5 days of age) group W and group Q larvae differentially expressed ESTs six ESTs There are four specific expression in group W larvae, the remaining two are specifically expressed in larvae of the group Q, and the analysis revealed the function of the targeted gene in these ESTs are intended bee larvae development and differentiation activities . Ultimately, we concluded that: the tea pollen water-soluble substances capable of inducing the Italian honeybee larvae to the worker bees the direction and development; also inhibited the expression of other genes and induced the expression of some genes.
