Abstract

Reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression are widely used in the actual structure engineering. Such as the corner column of frame house, the side column under the action of earthquake and the space framework support pillar supported water towers. In many cases, in order to analysis and calculation of the simple and convenient, the reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression ignore a direction to approximate reinforced concrete unilateral eccentric according to calculation, but when the differences of the moment in both directions were little, we can’t ignore any one. In this case, we must calculate the components section bearing capacity calculation component in accordance with reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric loading method.Domestic and international standards about the calculation method of reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression have different calculation theories. All sorts of theories are being the different analytical calculation methods. Reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression in calculating the bearing capacity of normal section is often adopted in the current standard Nikitin formula (bearing capacity related method) and graphic method to calculate. But they are more tedious, which need to consider calculating one-way eccentric loading of the two positive shaft (x and y directions) direction. When component in bearing capacity limit state, the stress distribution of the section is not suitable for elastic pattern, and in theory has not by superposition principle, so it only approximately calculate. Now through the advantage of existing test data and data, using the finite element analysis program ANSYS reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression carrying capacity of simulated nonlinear full-range, we analysed the influence law of different parameters, and the feasibility of the bearing capacity of components adopted the finite element program analysis Reference technical specification for steel reinforced concrete composite structures research topics, according to bearing capacity of normal section for steel reinforced concrete columns under biaxial eccentric compression equation deduce the approximate calculation formula for reinforced concrete column, and will compare approximate calculation formula calculation results with the experimental results were compared, and validate the applicable scope of the calculation formula. Finally, through comparing the ultimate capacity calculated by current the Code for design of concrete structures calculation method with the approximate calculation formula, we investigate the effect and accuracy. This paper will be helpful to the engineering calculation and provide a reference for further research of reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compression.
