Abstract


With the improvement and development of the virtual reality technology,how to combine the virtual reality with the digital campus,full exerting the application of the virtual reality technology in educational fields;how to cause the virtual campus to be more real.the function is more perfect,is also the topic which the present people pay attention.The basic theory of the virtual reality was studied in this paper,summarized the manifestation and the advantage of the virtual reality applying to the campus.Basic theory、Key Technologies and the thinking of design of the virtual campus have been discussed in detail in the paper.The basic implement method based on 3DSMAX and Virtools were studied in this paper, picked up Guizhou normal university as a practical reference model,forceful support was provided with Guizhou normal university campus multifunctional system.Firstlu parts of campus environment were modeled,all models(stair,roads,street lamp,gate,etc)were constructed to create the campus environment,campus interactive functions were described by Virtools.The design and implementation of the virtual guizhou normal university campus system,combined the technologies of Virtools and 3D Studio MAX,using Virtools technology makes visitors can have the real experience of visiting the campus in computer,and a series of activities can be realized in a virtual environment,the school environment can be known indoors.The interactive functions of the system contains:the day and night time change of campus environment,automatic navigation and choosing the roaming function independently. and the tracking graph roam path.
