Abstract


The competition of the corporations in 21 century is in the competition of corporate culture. We can say that the corporate culture is the key factor which makes or ruins a company. The construction of corporate culture in the northwest of China is just at its beginning. So facing the chance and challenge of economy development, constructing a characteristic corporate culture can make the corporations in the northwest of China develop steadily and healthily. Electric Power corporations are of great importance in the development of national economy because they are the basic industry which can provide the electric energy for the whole social production and life. There are lots of difficulties during the reform of Northwest Electric Power System. I think it is not only in the company system but also in the corporate administration, especially in the lag of the corporate culture. Therefore, in order to fulfill the requests of the times and face the market challenge, the Northwest electric system has to combine the regional character of the Northwest and its own character, habit and tradition to construct its own characteristic corporate culture. So this article has its particularity and is very important to the development of Chinese Northwest electric power system.This article is based on the corporate culture theory. Through the study on the general situation of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd. and its corporate culture, it discusses the advantage and disadvantage during the construction of corporate culture and finds out the origin of these problems. It also discusses the significance of constructing corporate culture of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd.. What’s more, this article gets the new idea of constructing the corporate culture in the special area of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd. and the special industry, that is, the orientation of the corporate culture construction of the Northwest electric power system. It also summarizes the concrete plans of constructing corporate culture of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd. From all of these, it can stimulate the staff’s efficiency and the sustaining development of the company. the article draws the outline of outlook of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd.corporate culture,At last, the article draws the safeguards of the Northwest Power Grid Co., Ltd. corporate culture: thinking of security, organizations of security, institution of security, input of security.
