Abstract


Concrete tied arch bridge is widely applied for its beautiful shape, proper stress, economic cost, constructional convenience and adaptability to kinds of graphical and geological conditions etc.But the design results, such as cost or force condition of various parts can’t achieved the optimal design, so it is extremely necessary to design with optimization algorithm.Firstly, during the process of optimization design, a lot of structural reanalysis are needed. Bridge structural analysis commercial softwares don’t open data interface. Structural analysis can’t be directly called by main program as submodule.Secondly, most variables in bridge design are constrained nonlinear and mixed discrete continuous. Constrained nonlinear mixed discrete continuous variables optimization method is immature compared with continuous variables optimization method. This paper gives an attempt in this field.This paper includes research achievements of former researches, which is based on a concrete tied arch bridge, sets up an optimization model and optimal design using constrained nonlinear mixed discrete continuous variables method. The main works are as follows:(1) Design a structural analysis program for tied arch bridge, and compare it with the calculations by Midas software, prove the correctness of programming possible to structural reanalyze during the process of optimization design.(2) The modification and improvement of the program based on the constrained nonlinear mixed discrete continuous variables method help to solve the large-size mathematical model.(3) Use the total cost of arch,boom and tie bar as the objective function, use the deflection caused by live load and the stress of steel pipe and concrete as constraints, establishe mathematical model of optimization.(4) In order to verify the rationality of the optimization results, checke the optimization results by Midas/civil software. checke the optimization results by Midas/civil software.
