Abstract

Modern highway traffic volume , axle-load , ordinary asphalt is often difficult to meet the requirements for use of the high-grade highways , and must be processed in order to improve the asphalt road performance . SBS modified asphalt has good performance , therefore , in our highway use increasingly widespread . A lot of research and practice , SBS modified asphalt modifier dosage and processing quality is critical to the quality of the modified asphalt . Reference research at home and abroad on the basis of a combination of theoretical and experimental approach , mainly for the following research : testing by conventional techniques of penetration, softening point and ductility performance of SBS modified bitumen SBS dosage with three indicators correlation test and analysis ; Saal formula found by measuring the modified asphalt viscosity-temperature characteristics , the linear SBS the modified asphalt lglgη values ??and lg (T 273.15) linear correlation significantly ; by infrared spectroscopy , SBS trans-butadiene can be used as the basis for the determination of SBS dosage ; final , fluorescence microscopy and image processing technology , as an indicator of morphology and combination of short and long-term aging performance decay comprehensive evaluation of the quality of SBS modified bitumen processing . Through analysis and discussion of the above results , the paper summarizes the SBS modified asphalt dosage testing and processing quality evaluation method , the method has important guiding significance for the quality of the management and control of SBS modified asphalt production .
