Abstract


With the advance of reform and opening up, China's stock market development continue at a rapid pace and growth. The stock price rising to fall with the market changes, large and small investors in the stock market and therefore faced with the addition and changes of their own wealth. Therefore, the stock market wealth effect is increasingly cause for concern, and, ultimately, by the apparent consumption. The United States and other mature Western markets has proved its market wealth effect has great influence on the socio-economic. China's stock market is still at an early stage of development, the research on the effect of stock market wealth is still in the ascendant. As of the current study conclusion, distinguished scholars for \However, with the development of China's stock market is mature, and gradually smooth run of the stock market, recent empirical and theoretical studies gradually tend to think of China's stock market has a weak wealth effect. Influenced by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis broke out in 2007, the financial turmoil sweeping the globe, the Chinese economy will slide into the trough. The thrust of this article is to want to be able to verify the existence and affect the size of the consumer market, through the study of China's stock market wealth effect, looking for new ideas and solutions to stimulate China's domestic demand, revive our economy. In this paper, on the basis of research results before comprehensive discussion using a combination of theoretical and empirical methods to explore China's stock market wealth effect factors play a role in the consumer market. First, the by traditional theoretical hypothesis, such as absolute income hypothesis, permanent income hypothesis and the life cycle theory analysis factors affect the stock market wealth effect. Secondly, the use of the 2006 - 2008 data by the existence of the empirical test observations of stock market wealth effect and its size. Finally, the combination of the theoretical and empirical results with reality, the constraints of the deep analysis of stock market wealth effect of the influence of the consumer market, such as the depth and breadth of the stock market, the stock market run smooth, the quality of listed companies and the crowding out effect \to find ideas and measures for possible solutions. I hope through the introduction of various policies, to expand the market scale, regulate the stock market run, to increase awareness of the quality of the future of China's stock market to play a greater wealth effect, to play a more active role in the economic development and the expansion of domestic demand.
