Abstract

With economic globalization, especially after China's accession to WTO, China and other countries and regions, business activities have become increasingly frequent, for business personnel practitioners are increasingly high requirements not only required to have a strong professional background, it also requires that it has a certain ability to communicate in foreign languages. In this social context, the Business English teaching English teaching in higher vocational colleges to become an important part. The author draws extensively on advanced teaching methods, based on the combination of the characteristics of Business English and the actual situation of students in vocational colleges, vocational proposed situational approach used in business English teaching, aimed at improving the oral teaching practicality and fun, to stimulate students' enthusiasm and initiative to achieve vocational Business English teaching service society. Situational teaching is actually not a new term. In recent years, scenarios for how the melt in Business English, especially spoken language teaching, many educators have carried out active exploration, but the research and discussion focused on teaching scenarios, scenario teaching primarily be regarded as a specific form of classroom activities. The author relies on many scholars and experts achievements that situational approach should first select the appropriate student demand, especially suitable for the needs of its future work scenarios for teaching, needs analysis is the key to teaching scenarios. In the classroom, teachers should make full use of various audiovisual multimedia tools to enable students to become familiar with and feel the target scene, on this basis, teachers can set up simulation scenario, students performing in the simulation environment and exercises to master the language through the use of expression and communication skills, to achieve the transformation theory to practice. Situational Approach to Constructivist Teaching Theory and the input hypothesis theory, the use of scenarios to provide students with effective classroom input to help them make sense of the knowledge and skills to complete the construction. In order to better situational approach will be applied to vocational Business English teaching, the author of this article, Jiangsu Suzhou Vocational University Business English teaching conducted a survey, discussion and analysis of the current status of teaching Business English and scenarios Teaching in the application of the difficulties and challenges faced, and on this basis put forward suggestions for improvement. First, teachers should make full use of our graduates resources, good tracking requirements analysis, requirements database, rich course content, improve curriculum practicality; Second, teachers should design appropriate scenario for the introduction of the task to guide students through the task of learning; Again, teachers can be extended to situations outside the classroom teaching, curricular and teaching combined with the Foreign Secretary; Finally, teachers should strengthen their own teaching theory, teaching methods and other aspects of training, the times, in order to better carry out teaching Business English .
