Abstract


Intelligent transportation system is an important part of the urban transport system, in the context of urban transport bus priority, want to ease urban traffic congestion phenomenon, it must vigorously develop public transport undertakings. The construction of intelligent transportation systems can improve the bus company management methods, improve operational efficiency and service level of the public transportation system is an important step in the development of urban public transport undertakings. Reading a lot of literature, on the basis of the reference design, combined with state-of-the-art GPS, GPRS technology, design and implementation of the ARM-based intelligent public transportation vehicle management terminal. GPS is the new generation of satellite navigation and positioning system established by the United States, a global nature, weather, land, sea and air Almighty, in particular, apply to the transport sector, with China Mobile is stable and reliable, wide coverage, fast data transmission GPRS network as information transmission medium, as the main technology to GPS, GPRS intelligent transportation system using radio frequency than in the past, the public transport system more stable and higher real-time data transmission radio technology built, is the ideal solution for intelligent transportation system design. ARM-based intelligent public transportation vehicle terminal is an important part of the intelligent transportation system, information terminal of the whole system, is responsible for receiving and publishing of information, plays a vital role in the system. This paper describes the design of the ARM processor as a master of intelligent vehicle terminal, including the content of the terminal overall design, hardware design, software coding, overall debugging. The overall design of the functional requirements of the terminal and for the functional requirements of the design; given a specific hardware design schematics, hardware design and hardware selection, schematic design of the key issues were discussed; terminal software design process flow chart is given in the software design, and program design ideas and detailed explanations; Finally, the joint terminal hardware, software debugging process was introduced, and eventually through the debugger terminal display. After many rounds of testing and modification, the intelligent transportation system has achieved a punctuality assessment, real-time monitoring, alarm messages, and many other features as automatic station and put into trial operation in Changsha City bus lines, good social reaction.
