Aluminum-copper alloy of light weight, high mechanical strength, this material is expected to be applied to more places. Firstly, a more comprehensive overview of the development and research status of aluminum-copper alloy, and then use the the homemade pulse hard anodizing test device of the hard anodized aluminum alloy 2A12, and eddy current thickness gauge, micro hardness tester, scanning electron microscopy, XRD detection means to detect and observe the mechanical properties of hard anodic oxide film generated in a single sulfuric acid electrolyte, structural characteristics and microscopic morphology. First, a brief introduction the common basic nature and development of aluminum and its alloys, highlighting the growth process and the main factors of the anodic oxide film of aluminum and its alloys. Research performance 2A12 aluminum, chemical composition made presentations and gave a brief overview of 2A12 aluminum alloy anode oxide film preparation. Research subject for this purpose and content. Then described this subject 2A12 aluminum alloy experimental properties of the materials and laboratory equipment, and highlights the experimental methods and experimental route selected by the subject. Hard anodic oxide film coating performance requirements, the laboratory to design a pulse hard anodized device. The present paper a detailed study of the various process conditions including current density, the processing voltage, and oxidation time, temperature and electrical parameters on the formation of a hard anodic oxide film performance and film formation investigated the process conditions of the single component of the rigid an anodic oxide film thickness, hardness, corrosion resistance. On the basis of single factor experiments were hard anodizing electrolyte of sulfuric acid-based film-forming agent L 9 (3 3 sup>) orthogonal experiment , the widely used sulfuric acid concentration of 28% for basic electrolyte optimization optimum conditions: the base current I 1 = 2A pulse current I 2 = 4A the the trapezoidal pulse rise time and fall time 5s, and the pulse waveform can be arbitrary regulation; current density dm 2 sup>, bath temperature -8 ° C, oxidation time of 90min; generated under this condition hard oxide film thickness is greater than 30μm, a film thickness of up to 40μm, and the hardness greater than 350 HV. SEM, XRD and other methods were used to characterize the morphology, structure and composition of the surface of the ceramic membrane. The results showed that the ceramic film is mainly composed of a barrier layer and a porous layer by the phase composition of the ceramic coating, the mutual penetration between the substrate and the film, forming the typical metallurgical bonding. Hard anodic film thickness of the ceramic film, the film base at the same time the bonding strength were also tested.
