Abstract

Bayberry has high economic, ecological and social benefits, to study Dongkui, photosynthetic physiological and ecological characteristics of the water chestnuts species of bayberry, aims to provide a scientific basis for the excellent selection of species and efficient cultivation management. Donghu Campus of Zhejiang Forestry College Dongkui and water chestnuts kinds of Bayberry test materials, both photosynthesis from April 2008 to December, and observed both leaf anatomical characteristics measured parameters specific leaf weight, chlorophyll and sugar content. The results are as follows: 1 Dongkui and water chestnuts kinds of Bayberry diurnal changes in December for \phenomenon, in April and July, two bayberry photosynthetic \The seasonal variation of net photosynthetic rate was \Between 2 two waxberry the light compensation point in the 25-53μmol · m-2 · s -1 , light saturation point in the 335.05-700.09μmol · m-2 · s -1 < between / sup>, with the characteristics of the sun plants; Dongkui and water chestnuts kinds of bayberry CO2 compensation points were 39.764μmol · m-2 · s -1 and 33.941μmol · m-2 · -1 s, CO2 saturation point respectively 1030.000μmol · m-2 · s -1 and 1173.333μmol · m-2 · s -1 , Dongkui Bayberry available intensity range, carboxylation efficiency and maximum net photosynthetic rate stronger than water chestnuts kinds of Bayberry. 3 East Qui Bayberry new leaf (exhibition leaves 10 d), 0.5 years, and one year of Health and two years students leaves the net photosynthetic rate were higher than the same period water chestnuts kinds of bayberry; different varieties of different leaf curtain layer leaves the net photosynthetic rate have differences; different varieties different orientation of the net photosynthetic rate size there are also differences. Of 4 the water chestnuts Bayberry's specific leaf weight higher than Yangmei of Dongkui; daily mean value of both net photosynthetic rate and specific leaf weight a certain correlation; slightly higher than the water chestnuts kinds of Bayberry chlorophyll a, b and total content Dongkui potential, both chlorophyll a / b value is not very different, the main reason for chlorophyll differences are not caused by the difference of photosynthetic rate bayberry varieties; the water chestnuts bayberry leaves the soluble sugar, reducing sugar and starch content were higher than Dongkui diurnal mean with both blades showing some correlation between the soluble sugar, reducing sugar and starch content. 5 Dongkui Bayberry stomatal densities below the water chestnuts kinds stomatal length and width greater than the water chestnuts species, both stomatal aspect ratio of the difference was not significant; stomatal density, stomatal length and width of the difference may be caused by varieties photosynthetic rate differences one of the reasons; both palisade tissue and spongy tissue thickness, gate sea than were no significant differences in both leaf anatomical structure may affect their photosynthesis obvious.
