Abstract


Objective: Mitral valve is a architectonic of myocardium between left ventricle and left atrium.The precise denomination in anatomic is mitral apparatus or mitral complex. It’s including mitral leaflet, valve ring, chor- da tendineae, papillary muscles and borderline conjunction. Mitral valve’s proper functioning depend on all parts of mitral apparatus intimate com- pounding.Any cause induce mitral apparstus destructive,will induce mitral incompetence.Mitral valve palsty can revert the effective of mitral valve’s nonreturn valve,to achieve satisfactory haemodynamics,by repair mitral valve and accessory structure.To mitral valve replace,mitral valve plasty can better on morphosis of left ventricle.Mitral valve plasty could reduce complication of anticoagulan and incidence rate of infective endocarditic. We analyzed forty-three patients of mitral valve plasty to study the clinical results and operative methods of mitral valvoplasty for mitral valve insufficiency.Methods: Data of forty-three patients(from March 2004 to Augest 2008) underwent mitral valve repair were retrospectively analyzed,which involve 31 cases of mitral valve prolapse,6 cases of congenital heart disease, 3 cases of degeneration heart disease, 3 cases of infective endo-carditis.Valvoplasty technique included 28 cases of quadrangular resec-tion,6 cases of mitral annuloplasty,7 cases of repair of perforation,2 cases of edge to edge technique.The results were evaluated by saline injection test and transesophageal echocardiography.Results: There was one patient death early postoperative,one patient failed to repair and received valve replacement afterward.The left atrial dimension and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter of all the another patients were decreased.And the cardiac function ranged between NYHA Class I and II.Conclusions:Mitral valve valvopalsty should be the preferred mods of surgical correction for regurgitate mitral valve.Flexibly utilizing many kinds of mitral valvoplasty methods according to pathological changes of mitral valve,patients with selective mitral insufficiency patienes,may achi- eve satisfactory effect.
