Background: Suicide has become a major global public health problem. Suicide in China's cause of death among the five. Objective: the psychological autopsy method Zhuanghe rural suicide of those who died during his lifetime personality characteristics were investigated. Two informed of suicide group, the control group and two-informed people face-to-face interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire to obtain information from the various dimensions of the Chinese Personality Assessment personality characteristics of suicide death, in order to better the relationship understanding personality and committed suicide, suicide prevention to provide a theoretical basis. Methods: This study selected Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province, June 1, 2006 to 2008, 30 suicide deaths in rural areas as the target of the suicide group, while the ratio of 1:1 with the suicide group were randomly selected target age of ( ± 5 years), sex, place of residence matched normal controls as the control group target.
