Abstract


Objective: This study by patient satisfaction and chewing performance of two aspects of the traditional mandibular denture and ball caps attached to the retention of the mandibular body plant covering a total denture clinical effect quantitative analysis to understand the chewing function of patients use planting overdenture the degree of improvement , for ball caps attachment to repair design , research provides a theoretical basis . METHODS: We randomly select 12 cases of pre- row planting covering the repair of mandibular complete denture edentulous patients . Mandibular left canine area on the right of each implantation of an implant , two weeks after implantation , making conventional mandibular complete denture ; implanted in patients 3 months after referral , traditional complete denture satisfaction questionnaire and masticatory efficiency the test , after the ball caps placed on conventional dentures attachment ; appointment patients three months after the review again the satisfaction survey and chewing efficiency test . Observed in patients wearing complete denture and satisfaction than traditional total denture denture adaptation , and the planting of cover and masticatory function changes . Results: 12 patients have using traditional complete denture and implant covering a total denture , voice, retention , chewing , comfort , Easy Ball attachment retained mandibular implant patients cover the total denture satisfaction than conventional dentures , the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); mandibular implant covering a total denture chewing performance masticatory efficiency than conventional dentures , the difference was statistically significant ( p lt; 0.05 ) . Conclusion: Easy Ball attachment retained mandibular planting covering a total denture mandibular edentulous , and significantly improve the performance of patients with denture satisfaction and chewing , is worthy of clinical application of a repair method .
