Abstract


The publishing industry is an important industry in China.The total impression list top position in the world every year and China is deserved to be a powerful publishing country.However in the rapid developing process of book industry,backward management,low information degree, weak supply chain operation ability and so on are acting out,and focus on the high inventory of book publishing enterprise.So,it is important theoretical and practical significance to studying the inventory problem and promoting the inventory model and effective solution to the book industry to increase market competitiveness and to reduce costs.In this paper,combined with own years of book industry experience, applying the theoretical system of supply chain management,supply chain inventory management theory,market segmentation theory,applied statistics,operations research disciplines and so on,and using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,author describe and research on the book industry supply chain inventory management method and strategy.In this paper,the main work and achievements are as follows.1.To study the book industry supply chain and inventory management background and significance,and review the relevant research of domestic and foreign books on supply chain inventory.2.From the definition of books,book publishing,book market to study the book market segments and sub-procedures,and introduce the major book market segments.And then predict the overall demand and needs of major segments on macro views. 3.To introduce the basic knowledge of supply chain management,and focus on the inventory management of supply chain and introduce three type models of supply chain inventory management-JMI,VMI,CPFR.Further define the inventory of book industry and discuss three book inventory, models- "jujube stone" mode,"Amazon" mode,"dumbbell" mode,then analysis and contract the three structurals.4.Briefly introduce the development of Xinhua bookstore, sub-materials demand books and general books for the two types of market segments put forward to the cost of the inventory control model.And then verify the model and show that the model is a practical one.To general demanding books,build a tri-element linear regression equation and forecast the market.And put forward to a joint operation of the supply chain development5.Finally,summary the full articles and put forward to prospects for further research and future development.
