Objective: 62 branch retinal vein occlusion (branch retinal vein occlusion , BRVO) parts of the structural characteristics of the patients with obstructive analysis and of newly diagnosed vision and follow-up vision statistics to explore the importance of anatomical factors in its risk factors , thus providing the clinical diagnostic and prognostic evaluation of the draw . Methods: A retrospective analysis of 62 cases from January 2008 to December 2010 , the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical ophthalmology ward for treatment. BRVO patients ( 62 eyes) and the same period of non - BRVO patients ( 62 eyes) fundus fluorescein angiography angiography arteriovenous crossing number and cross- relations record pole after the two groups , the temporal side of the arteriovenous crossing points with the distance of the rim , the presence of a second isolated retinal artery BRVO patients with newly diagnosed vision and followed up vision, and then analyzed statistically . Results : BRVO multi occurred at the intersection of the superior temporal quadrant (69.4 %) , trunk and branch vessel arteriovenous , which is common to the vein after a bit cross (88.5% ) , the upper branch of the superior temporal BRVO temporal arteriovenous crossing point and the average distance of the rim the 0.89 ± 0.53PD temporal compared with the control group on the first move of the vein intersection with rim average distance of 1.90 ± 0.79PD significantly shorter infratemporal BRVO eye of the temporal branch first arteriovenous the average distance of the intersection with rim 1.78 ± 0.24PD short at 2.09 ± 0.64PD average distance compared with the the first arteriovenous crossing point in the control group temporal rim . BRVO patients than non- BRVO eyes second isolated retinal artery branch number is less than the the BRVO contralateral eye , the second isolated retinal artery second isolated retinal artery BRVO patients with newly diagnosed vision and follow-up visual acuity some degree of improvement . Conclusion: branch retinal vein occlusion occurred especially in the temporal side of the trunk and branch vessel at the intersection of vein after a bit cross , temporal side of the the arteriovenous crossing rim distance is too short with BRVO closely related to the occurrence of the second the isolated branch retinal artery existence may be a protective effect on vision in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion .
