Abstract


Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic efficacies of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by abdominal radical trachelectomy in early cervical cancer patients.Methods:The clinical parameters from one patient with early cervical cancer treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy and abdominal radical trachelectomy were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The patient aged of 26 years, was diagnosed as FIGO stage I bl and squamous cell carcinoma. She underwent abdominal radical trachelectomy after 2 cycles NACT. The operative time was 200 min and mean blood loss was 400ml. There was no intraoperative complication, and no risk factors found. Woman did not presented recurrence with mean follow-up period of 13 months.Conclusion:ART as fertility preservation is available for patient with early cervical cancer, and NACT can be considered for those with large size tumor.
