Objective: to study the treatment of senile I branch acute myeloid leukemia method. Methods: cases of elderly acute myeloid leukemia patients are from liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine hospital onset, using retrospective analysis method, and to sum up the treatment. Results: cases of elderly patients with AML are given oral Chinese medicine decoction. Patients with other drugs treatment respectively is: chemotherapy of 17 cases, 6 cases of arsenic acid, HuaChan element 4 cases, compound HuangDai piece of 8 cases, resistance to ghost scattered in 5 patients. Forty cases of elderly patients with the treatment methods are summarized. Conclusion: the elderly to acute myeloid leukemia, western medicine chemotherapy for necessary choice, but treatment is more onefold, curative effect is not exact. Through to my department clinical cases were retrospectively analyzed, using a variety of treatment methods, combining traditional Chinese and western medicine, argues, have complementary advantages. The diversity of the treatment, improve the remission rate and prolong the survival period of patients, significantly improve the clinical symptoms, long-term survival in spite of illness.
