Abstract


In Chinese literature history the status of Li Bai and his poetry is very import, only Du Fu can match in excellence of poetry. However, in the Kingdom of prose, Li Bai’s prose seems to have no imposing position. How about his achievement on prose? This paper discuss the achievement that Li Bai obtained on prose under the premise of reading carefully and the foundation of research results. The paper look back Li Bai’s research on prose in first chapter since 80’s in 20 centuries, tidy up and categorize existing research data on Li Bai’s prose and Summary the achievements of research and point out shortage. This paper concretely analyze the thought contents of prose by the method of sub-category in Chapter 2. And in Chapter 3,analyzing the art of Li Bai’s prose from three aspects such as "There are the conception of the poetry in the article", "Symmetry and Prose", "strong beauty and free". The paper put Li Bai’s prose to the big background of prosperous Tang and has done a more objective position about the status of Li Bai’s prose and briefly discusses historical value and academic value in Chapter 4.
