Abstract


The Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao have always been attracting a great deal of attention. The poems contain indignant and strong feelings、rich and varied styles of the form that made them be glorious pearls in the long river of Yuefu poems.This dissertation plans to take the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao as the basic standpoint and focus on the three aspects :the inheritance and innovation, the time characteristics and the personality and the expression.The inheritance and innovation is chiefly about analysing the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao from the aspects of subject and form ,and about exploring the inheritance and development through contrasting them to the Yuefu poems during Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty in his creation.The inheritance on subject mainly embodies in inheriting and developing the reality in the Yuefu poems during Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty and the feelings and tone in the ancient poems. It is important to dig the development and innovation on the subjects of the frontier fortress, politics, history, etc. On the aspects of form, Bao Zhao continued to use the ancient titles and created some new titles by himself as well as using five, seven and miscellaneous words. The main point of this chapter is the inheritance and development in the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao vertically, it is the basis of comprehending the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao deeply.The Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao can be divided into two parts:one is copying the Yuefu poems during Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty, the other is copying the Yuefu poems during the Southern Dynasty, both of them obviously have the time characteristics. The poems on female, landscape, frontier fortress and so on all had been imprinted with the time; Under the influence of the form of the Yuefu poems during the Southern Dynasty, the Yuefu poems made up with five words and four sentences are short and neat,and there are some poems that cut out ancient poems and made them shorter in his copying poems. The way of expression and the modes of expression are closely related to the style of writing in Liusong Dynasty.This chapter is analysing the influence of the prevailing custom on the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao horizontally.Based on the exploring the origin and the time characteristics of the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao, the paper lays the stress on discriminating personality of the poems, comprehending their contents and style characteristic correctly and exploring all kinds of factors that determine the styles from the way of expression and the language. Although the forms and styles of the Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao are complex and diverse, we can basically comprehend and grasp them relative overall and deeply through the above several aspects’ analysis and research and combining the evaluation all the past dynasties.
