Abstract


With geographic information systems , spatial data mining technology development , especially after it possible to obtain a large number of remote sensing image data , how remote sensing image data reasonably effective management has become a new research focus . The remote sensing images stored in the database system , and combined with the appropriate index to scheduling , is a common practice of the current remote sensing image data management . However, the development of a more mature index management approach is mainly applied in remote sensing image visualization scheduling for subsequent spatial data mining services based on the contents of the index is still rare in the field of remote sensing image data management . This paper introduces the system image database , image feature extraction for remote sensing image data for remote sensing image database established content-based indexing . The index is mainly relying on the the SIFT local characteristics of the remote sensing image data , and the SIFT features hierarchical clustering together into a more typical Visual words Article Code and the eventual establishment of a remote sensing image dictionary tree of remote sensing image data content Indexing . The experiments show that this paper, the remote sensing image content indexing , generated thousands of pieces of remote sensing image data representative online dictionary tree can be completed in a few minutes . In this paper, the contents of the remote sensing image data index , two spatial data mining application instance : single remote sensing image similarity search and keyword - based remote sensing image retrieval , proved in adding content indexing , remote sensing image database indeed meet the spatial data mining of remote sensing image data requests .
