Abstract

Since China Telecom north-south split , Henan Telecom is facing a serious problem of the lack of local PSTN resources . How to quickly access users , to achieve earnings in Henan Telecom focus . Advanced network softswitch system can be implemented in the data online multiple services , including voice, video , data , and a variety of personalized , differentiated value-added services , greatly reduce the cost of network investment , reduce network construction and can attract more features business users to meet the actual needs of the construction and operation of Henan telecommunications network . Henan Telecom network status and business needs by understanding the design , proposed Henan Telecom local the NGN construction of the overall program , on the topology of Henan Telecom NGN softswitch , signaling gateway and repeater gateway device set NGN interworking with other networks , the calculation of the media stream bandwidth and signaling stream bandwidth and network performance test elaborated . Henan Telecom NGN design follows the centralized control and management of the whole network , the user side of the principle of flexible access construction . User to quickly and cost-effectively achieve access , while meeting the needs of the future development of the network expansion . Compared with the existing PSTN , NGN network evolution optimized to provide ways to have a more flexible business , launched a the original PSTN difficult business , and close new business in conjunction with the Web has more business operational capability.
