Abstract

As people put forward higher requirements of mobile transmission rate and system capacity , technical indicators , a new generation of communication systems need more state-of-the-art technology to achieve higher transfer rates and better transmission quality . Thus , the 3G Long Term Evolution (LTE) in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) as the spectrum of the physical layer modulation technology to increase system utilization reduce interference , while using multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna technology to improve system speed . The use of new technologies means that more base stations need to test parameters , the probability of destructive interference is increasing . For MIMO-OFDM base station test system has important theoretical significance and practical value . This article by the base station testing technology at home and abroad , the analysis of the MIMO-OFDM system theory and LTE base station test project , proposed LTE-TDD standard base station test system 's overall design . The program is divided into two parts of signal generation and signal receiver analog front end and digital system circuit test system design . The analog front end is divided into a D / A converter , low-pass filtering and analog - conversion based signal generating portion and the signal receiving portion mainly analog downconversion and acquisition circuitry . DSP, FPGA as digital signal processing and control center of the system , the drive to achieve high-speed, high-precision ADC and DAC LTE mobile base station RF parameters measured . According to the base station testing requirements on the system structure of each unit circuit depth and detailed design , to look forward instead of the more traditional test instrument with such a dedicated test circuitry , reducing the cost of base station testing , reference method for future testing of MIMO-OFDM base stations .
