Abstract


Desert grassland area of wind erosion and wind plot in July to August 2008 , the determination of surface soil erosion status quo the depth contour quantify wind erosion , combined with topographic maps , meteorological data and surface soil particle size on the sandstorm source migration their causes , and conducted a study on the relationship between vegetation cover and wind erosion in early May 2008 , and the following conclusions : 1 . study area northwest Mongolia East Gobi region , long-term erosion of the surface sand material the physical clay handling , gravel layer formed on the surface , the surface morphology that its sand source . The study area wind erosion sandstorm source in the region from the northwest to the southeast of slowing phenomenon that there are signs of expansion to the southeast , the main reason is the spring lead to surface erosion the main wind direction is northwest wind . Desert grassland , a direct result of wind erosion exposed by the the tuft grass roots saved with a strong disturbance associated . Trace the historical development of animal husbandry began in the early 1980s , this time as a starting point , the average annual wind erosion thickness 0.47mm ~ 1.54mm , an average of 0.98mm; wind erosion modulus for 1291 to 3841t / (km 2 * a), average 2436t / (km ~~ 2 * a ) . The research area of 70728 km ~ 2, annually the wind erosion handling of surface material of up to 1.72 x 10 ~~ 8t . Spring 3. Study area , wind speed maximum , the main wind direction is northwest wind is the main season the main reason leading to wind erosion . Different spatial location of wind erosion in the study area , at the entrance to the wind , because of the low-lying , the maximum amount of wind erosion ; windward slope , followed by wind erosion ; wind across the mountain again into the low-lying areas due to the blocking of the mountain the role of the smallest amount of wind erosion . Desert grassland vegetation cover key factor affecting wind erosion . Soil erosion and vegetation cover , vegetation cover , the higher the degree , the smaller the amount of wind erosion . When the wind speed is greater than the critical wind speed , wind erosion and wind velocity exponential relationship .
