Abstract

Objective: To explore the level and significance of bronchial asthma in patients with acute exacerbation of serum stem cell factor (SCF); explore asthma serum SCF level and serum eosinophil count (EOS), total serum immunoglobulin E (T -IgE), one second forced expiratory flow (FEV1%), exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO). Method: 1, 65 patients with bronchial asthma acute attack patients divided into mild, moderate and severe groups according to the severity of the disease, and at the same time with the same period in 37 normal subjects as controls. 65 patients with asthma (acute attack) are from hospitalized patients in our hospital in January 2009 -2010 in September, including 35 males and 30 females; choose the healthy control group during the same period 37 cases, including 21 males and 16 females cases. All subjects have been informed Experimental study and signed an informed consent. The classification is divided according to the diagnostic criteria of bronchial asthma prevention and treatment guidelines acute asthma attack. 2, ELISA method detection into the group of officers peripheral blood SCF: 65 patients with asthma to take blood before treatment, the procedure stated in the press kit, configure the use of reagents order to add standard serum samples until the microtiter plates terminate the color after the application of automatic microplate reader selected 450nm optical density was measured, the concentration of the standard curve and converted samples. 3, the asthma patients EOS, T-IgE was measured: 65 patients with asthma in the hospital inspection department EOS measurement, 53 cases of asthma patients with T-IgE determination, compare the measured values ??with the SCF. 4, FEV1% of patients with asthma, FeNO was measured: 1) 35 patients with asthma-line measurement of FEV1% lung function in our hospital room, and lung function was measured using pulmonary function analyzer (Jaeger, Germany), in accordance with the regulations determined after calibration, test record FEV1% predicted the index, and the index of pulmonary function and serum SCF concentration correlation analysis. 2) 39 patients with asthma in our hospital lung function room line FeNO measured by detection of exhaled nitric oxide analyzer (Aerocrine AB, Solna, Sweden), and in strict accordance with the product instructions. And the FENO indicators with the serum SCF concentration correlation analysis. Results: bronchial asthma acute exacerbation of the concentration of serum SCF: SCF of the control group 661.75 ± 49.21; case group SCF to 724.91 ± 31.29; mild group SCF value of 674.62 ± 39.41; the moderate groups SCF value of 726.45 ± 35.48; severe group SCF value is 768.49 ± 58.49. between the groups was statistically significant (F = 11.132, P value = 0.000), after the least significant difference analyzes: the mild and moderate group was statistically significant (P = 0.029); moderate group and severe group there is a statistically significant difference (P = 0.044); severe group and mild group with significant difference (P = 0.000). The control group and the group of cases there is a statistically significant difference (P = 0.000); the control group and the mild group difference was not statistically significant (P = 0.886); significant difference (P = 0.015) in the control group and the moderate group; significant difference (P = 0.000) in the control group and severe group. 65 patients with bronchial asthma in patients with acute exacerbation of FEV1% variance analysis was F = 15.931, P = 0.000, significant and least significant difference analysis drawn: mild group vs. the moderate group P = 0.009, statistics significance; moderate group vs severe group P = 0.002, statistically significant; mild group vs. severe group, P = 0.000, statistically significant. The total IgE system to discuss analysis, P = 0.125, not statistically significant. Serum EOS statistical analysis, P = 0.059, not statistically significant. The FeNO values ??row rank sum test, P = 0.000, statistically significant pairwise rank sum test was: mild group vs moderate group P = 0.003, significant; the mild group VS severe group P = 0.000, statistically significant; moderate group vs severe group P = 0.002, statistically significant. In patients with bronchial asthma in acute exacerbation Serum SCF with EOS correlation, r = 0.134, P = 0.287 gt; 0.05; SCF had no correlation with the T-IgE, r = 0.211, P = 0.129 gt; 0.05; SCF and FEV 1 % correlation, r = -0.369, P = 0.055 gt; 0.05; SCF and FeNO into positive correlation, r = 0.447, P = 0.004 lt; 0.05 Conclusion: SCF may more accurately reflect airway inflammatory changes may be involved pathogenesis of asthma. 2, SCF concentration and the severity of bronchial asthma patients were closely related, and can be used as indicators of asthma aided diagnosis and disease assessment.
