Abstract


From the 1980s, a host -based intrusion detection systems to today's complex and multi- forms of network-based intrusion detection systems, international researchers have been working on the operating framework for intrusion detection systems and intrusion detection systems for functional / performance testing methods and techniques . Especially for intrusion detection system testing methods, still no uniform international regulations . In this paper, our current network -based intrusion detection products Beginner detect common standards \contrast problems . Firstly, some famous international laboratories and research institutions classic test methods and theories of the industry status quo existing test conducted research and analysis. Then , learn from these domestic and foreign research conclusions , combined with current industry standard GA / T 403.1-2002, there is purpose of network -based intrusion detection system, the key functions of the project / performance testing principles and preconditions were studied and analyzed. Proposed a series of relatively reasonable network -based intrusion detection system improved testing methods ; and network -based intrusion detection system based on function and performance , between the link between the test points on the GA / T 403.1-2002 standard content associated with re- analysis, a more complete testing workflow. Furthermore, this paper proposed a detection of the key project workflows and testing carried out on the basis of the theory of modular design of the program , and ultimately to achieve a network -based intrusion detection system performance testing tool . This article 's goal is to draw domestic and foreign advanced detection methods and tools based on the experience to GA / T 403.1-2002 standards-based framework and propose a new detection method for network -based intrusion detection product testing methods provide the basis for the formulation of the Statute . Development of language and use performance testing tool to establish a unified platform to realize this type of network intrusion detection product performance testing new designs , but also for providing a platform for future performance scaling tests .
