Resolution need to adjust the video image video scaling technology . If the processing speed of the image scaling technology to achieve real-time requirements can be applied to video scaling . The traditional image scaling technology uses interpolation kernel function to restore the image of the existing pixel interpolation reconstruction . This article describes the theoretical basis of image interpolation - sampling theorem , the ideal reconstruction function Sinc function are discussed . This article describes the commonly used linear image interpolation techniques and pixel fill , adaptive interpolation and wavelet domain image scaling technology . Then, the article discusses the idea of hierarchical linear interpolation algorithm , designed and implemented on the FPGA grading bicubic algorithm . Finally, the scaling results of the various algorithms are analyzed and discussed . Analysis of existing video scaling algorithm - based , hierarchical linear interpolation algorithm and apply the simplified linear interpolation algorithm . The hierarchical linear interpolation algorithm at the expense of the calculation accuracy at the expense of the lookup table instead of multiplication , reducing the complexity of the algorithm . Paper designs and implements a hierarchical bi-cubic interpolation algorithm , a detailed description of the modular structure of the on-board system . Finally, hierarchical linear interpolation algorithm is compared with the original linear interpolation algorithm renderings comparison results indicate that the hierarchical interpolation algorithm with the original algorithm error is smaller , the smaller of the magnification ratio can replace the original algorithm . FPGA implementation results prove grading bicubic linear interpolation algorithm to meet the the rated frame rate , real - time video scaling .
