Integrated sensor , embedded computing , networking and wireless communication four technical wireless sensor network is a new information acquisition and processing technology, which is a new type of wireless network to collaboratively real-time monitoring , perception and acquisition variety of environmental information or the monitoring of objects , and processed and sent to the users who need these information . Wireless sensor network is a new research field of computer science and technology , has a very broad application prospects , causing a high degree of attention of both academia and industry . Wireless sensor network has been widely applied in various fields of scientific research, military , civil and other prospects . However , the limited energy of sensor nodes , thus saving energy as an important goal of the wireless sensor . Firstly , the concept of wireless sensor networks , architecture , characteristics and key technologies to do a brief introduction ; and then do a comparative study of the various existing routing protocols for wireless sensor networks , inductive sensor network routing protocol features , design requirements performance indicators. In this paper, based on the analysis of a large number of communication protocols based on random sleep and hierarchical network communication protocols ( SLCP ) . Large - scale hierarchical wireless sensor networks , the more close to the sink node , the greater the amount of data forwarding , energy consumption faster , node density distribution has a great impact on the entire lifetime of the network . In hierarchical wireless sensor networks based on integration into the random sleep scheduling mechanism , set a reasonable probability of node sleep , reducing the number of working nodes and network energy consumption , verification through simulation experiments , to achieve the purpose of extending the network lifetime .
