Object: To assess the efficiency and safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine used in the treatment of migraine by using Cochrane system evaluation method.Methods: Collected clinical experiments in traditional Chinese medicine used in the migraine roundly, established a choice criterion, filtrated qualified researches, evaluated the quality of the qualified researches by using the Jadad standard of perfection, made tests for homogeneity, Meta-analysis, funnel plots analysis et al.Results: 52 items were brought into the qualified researches, including 16 items on xuefu zhuyu decotion, 7 items on chuan xiong cha tiao powder, 29 items on yangxue qingnao granule. The results of meta-analysis showed that compared with western medicine ,traditional chinese medicine alone or combined with western medicine have significant differences in the treatment of migraine.Conclusion: Meta-analysis results show that traditional chinese medicine treatment for migraine has certain curative effect, however, due to the research into literature was still not big enough ,a signal methodological quality evaluation index, the existence of sexual bias effect assessment system, inadequate, make this study still has certain limitation. Rigorously designs, randomized, multi-center, large sample trials of migraine are needed to further assess the effect.
