Objective : This project aims to study early atherosclerotic lesions (PCA) TCM constitution crowd typing, analysis of various physical category brachial - ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV), ankle - brachial index (ABI) and PCA relevance for atherosclerosis research of TCM constitution provides a theoretical basis for clinical atherosclerosis prevention and treatment of new ideas. Methods : A cross-sectional epidemiological research methods , in strict accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria have been screened thickening of the carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT gt; 0.9mm), but no clinical diagnosis of atherosclerotic disease of the crowd the selected candidates line baPWV, ABI and other tests , according to wang Qi \Results : The study enrolled patients with a total 236 cases , 48.3% were male , 51.7% female , male to female ratio was 0.93:1 ; composition of TCM constitution , simply type accounted for 55.5% , 44.5% compound , two of the composite type (36.9%) , three kinds of composite 6.4% , four and more complex (1.3%) ; simple constitution in phlegm and blood stasis , respectively, 12.3% and 8.9 % in the composite and phlegm , blood each accounted for 16.1% mass stasis ; through statistical analysis , baPWV, ABI occurrence associated with the PCA , phlegm and blood stasis in higher values of baPWV , ABI values lower (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion: 1 , phlegm and blood stasis is a high incidence of PCA crowd physical type , followed by hot and humid nature ; 2 , phlegm crowd highest value of baPWV , ABI minimum value , followed by blood stasis , damp-heat .
