Objective: This study was designed to investigate the relationship between syndrome type of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the manifestation of dynamic cardiogram (DCG), ultrasonic cardiogram (UCG), treadmill exercise test in angina patients.Methods: Patients with angina were selected and classified into the following six types according to the standard of TCM: Xin Xue Yu Zu (XXYZ), Tan Zhuo Nei Zu (TZNZ), Han Ning Xin Mai (HNXM), Xin Shen Yang Xu (XSYaX), Xin Qi Xu Ruo (XQXR), Xin Shen Yin Xu (XSYiX). DCG, UCG and treadmill exercise test were performed and the data were compared among the six groups.Results: One hundred and ten cases were selected.①Manifestation of DCG: The order of SDNN was: XXYZ, TZNZ, HNXM > XQXR, XSYiX > XSYaX (p<0.05). PNN50 value was: XQXR, TZNZ, HNXM > XXYZ, XSYiX > XSYaX (p<0.05).The order of myocardial ischemic burden and QTd value was: XSYiX, XSYaX > XQXR > XXYZ > TZNZ, HNXM (p<0.05).②Manifestation of UCG: The order of LVEF value was: TZNZ, HNXM > XQXR > XXYZ > XSYiX, XSYaX (p<0.05). The order of FS, left atrial diameter, end diastolic left ventricle diameter value was: XSYiX, XSYaX > XXYZ > XQXR > TZNZ, HNXM (p<0.05).③Manifestation of treadmill exercise test: The positive rates of TZNZ and HNXM were significantly lower than XSYiX and XSYaX (p<0.05). The order of total exercise time, maximum metabolic equivalent value was: TZNZ, HNXM > XXYZ > XQXR > XSYiX, XSYaX (p<0.05). The order of mean peak ST segment depression value was: XSYiX, XSYaX > XQXR > XXYZ > TZNZ, HNXM (p<0.05). Conclusion: The relationship between syndrome type of TCM and the manifestation of DCG, UCG, treadmill exercise test in angina patients is clear. The data of those western medicine tests may provide objective basis for the TCM syndrome classification of angina.
