Abstract


Objective To realize disease spectrum of rural residents in Yuanling county, thus providing scientific proof for reasonable health resources arrangement.Methods To collect medical material of all rural residents who joined in rural medical insurance between 2007 and 2008. And build up disease spectrum of different sex and age group to compare the difference of various disease constitutes. Kruskal Wallis test, rank sum test and rank correlation analysis were used to examine the significance.Results There are much more abnormal medical results in female than in male, which the ratio is 2.13:1. The top 5 of cases are urologic and genital diseases, circulation system disease, digestive system disease, cases who are abnormal in symptom,sign,laboratory test results, and gynaecological disorders. The constitutes is also different between female and male, and that in different age groups. Its separation is 18 years when a lot of diseases are occurred, although many children and juvenile never get these diseases before.Conclusion The disease spectrum got from this paper can provide scientific proof for health policies, while health policies making should be continually adjusted by different age spectrums.
