Abstract


Buddhism was introduced into China from Western Han Dynasty after the gradual integration with the Chinese local culture . In the Tang Dynasty , the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Zen reform and the creation of the Southern Chan with Chinese characteristics . Southern Chan become the mainstream of Chinese Buddhism in Late Tang , creating a new situation of Buddhism in China . The spread of the wide range of Southern Chan , affect the number of success in China spread a classic case of a foreign culture . This paper will focus attention on the formation and propagation of Buddhism of Southern Chan in China during the Tang Dynasty . The use of the basic principles of communication studies , such as Lasswell propagation mode , Kenneth ? Burke 's \grounded theory and literature analysis methodology, analyzes how Nanzong the dissemination of doctrines fusion of traditional Chinese culture , fit in the Chinese people's traditional thinking , habits, and what mode of transmission in the communication process , communication strategy, to achieve the desired transmission effect , revealing inclusive of Chinese culture in the face of different cultures and cohesion. Through the analysis , I believe that the Communication from the point of view the Southern Chan in the Tang Dynasty to achieve the desired dissemination of results because of the following points : (1) the Southern School communicators innovation and struggling Southern School in China on the basis of the propagation . ( 2 ) Nanzong Zen can reach a wide audience in the ruling class and the ruling class is Nanzong Zen orthodox , the ideal dissemination of results is another important reason . (3 ) Southern Chan be the first in China to achieve the desired dissemination of results lies in the application of the media . ( 4 ) Nanzong Zen management is the dissemination of information to its far-reaching important factor. (5) Southern Chan Sung corner developed into a Zen orthodox and eventually formed Nanzong five , a typical representative of the Chinese Buddhism , had a profound influence on Chinese culture . We have to admit to the Southern Chan spread in China achieved the desired communication effect , the Southern Chan 's classic communication culture is worth learning and learning .
