Abstract


Liaoning Liaohe River is the mother river of children, thousands of years to the benefit of the people along the coast, but also to the people along caused a huge disaster. Good governance is riding in Liaohe generations of engineering, construction is the prevention of flood levees intrusion most direct and effective water conservancy projects. Time into modern times, Liaohe River embankment construction has entered a new historical period. Especially since the Republic of Liaohe River began a large-scale flood control and dam construction. This study defines the time frame is from 1912 to 1931, through the analysis of this period the situation Liaohe River dam construction; summarizes the characteristics of dam construction in; also from dam construction has been an important experience.
