Abstract


The construction of China’s socialist democratic politics is both the hot point to the attention of the society and the emphasis of the academic study. Researchers in both home and abroad have paid great attention to this issue. To carry out the monographic study on the experiences and revelations of China’s socialist democratic politics construction, is the deepening of the study of China’s socialist democratic politics construction, and it will bring significance to further promote the construction of China’s socialist democratic politics and to advance the development of grand undertaking of socialist construction.The construction of China’s socialist democratic politics is the important component of the grand undertaking of Chinese characteristic socialist construction and it is also the general title of a series of specific systems established, measures and methods adopted for the purpose of achieving and protecting people’s position as masters of the country. After the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, our country has established the socialistic democratic and political system with its core of“people act as master of the country”. Meanwhile we have also set up the following specific democratic and political system forms that include the system of people’s congresses, the system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the system of regional autonomy of ethnic minorities and the system of community level self-governance. The development course of the construction of China’s democratic politics is mainly the improving process of these specific systems.The development course of China’s socialist democratic politics construction may be divided into four phases: they are accordingly as the early democratic politics explorations and practices of the Chinese Communist Party, the foundation and initial development of China’s socialist democratic politics construction, the complicated development of China’s socialist democratic politics construction, the restoration and gradual development of China’s socialist democratic politics construction.In the long-term development course of China’s socialist democratic politic construction, there are many precious experiences worth to be summarized. Among them, the successful experiences of China’s socialist democratic politics construction are to keep to the leadership by the Communist Party of China, to ensure the organic union between people’s position as masters of the country and governing the country according to law, and to correctly handle the relationship between revolution and construction, between the socialism democracy and the capitalism democracy, between the reform of political system and the reform of economic system, between the democracy and the legal system.All of these experiences, after being scientifically analyzed, have supplied the following important revelations:the democratic politics construction is the life of the vigorous development of grand undertaking of socialist construction, the democratic politics construction is the root of consolidating the leadership of our party, the democratic politics construction is the key point to promote economic development, the democratic politics construction is the chief guarantee of our people’s fundamental interests, the democratic politics construction is the important guarantee to build a harmonious socialist society.Although the construction of China’s socialist democratic politics has already come into a stable development period, the fundamental realities of the country which define China will still and in a long time remain in the primary stage of socialism determine that the construction of China’s socialist democratic politics will still need a long-term course.
