Abstract

Barium strontium titanate (Ba 1-x the Sr x TiO 3 BST) ceramic and thin film has broad application prospects, such as: Phased phase shifter array antenna, microwave tuning devices, infrared pyroelectric imaging devices, and many other fields. Recently, the barium strontium titanate material has been identified preferred candidate materials for dynamic random access memories (DRAMs). In order to improve the performance of the phase shifter La 2 O 3 and CeO 2 rare earth oxides doped BSTO / MgO iron electric the phase shifters material low-frequency (10 kHz) relative permittivity, dielectric loss and tunability, and the impact of the mechanism were discussed. Discusses the relationship between the material composition, microstructure, and the dielectric properties. The main results are as follows: 1.La 2 O 3 BSTO / MgO composite ceramic sintering characteristics, phase structure, microstructure and dielectric properties of. Traces of La 2 O 3 doped composite ceramics can be reduced by about 50 ° C sintering temperature, and can improve the dielectric properties of the ceramic. Within a temperature in the range of 1400 to 1550 ° C in all samples, there are two phases of the BST and MgO does not detect other hetero phase. Doped with La 2 O 3 BSTO / MgO composite dielectric loss can be reduced, while maintaining a moderate dielectric constant. Doping the La 2 O , 3 dielectric composite ceramics cause scheduling to reduce, but a small amount of La 2 O doped BSTO / MgO composite ceramics dielectric loss significant improvements. 2 to Ba 0.6, Sr 0.4 of TiO 3 and the mass fraction of 56% MgO mixed on the basis of conducted CEO 2 < / sub> doped system. The results showed that: The With CeO 2 incorporated amount of increase, BSTO / MgO material and grain size decreases. XRD, SEM and EDS analysis show that the the composite ceramics Ba 0.6 Sr 0.4 the TiO 3 (BST) and MgO phase composition, there is no impurity ; as CeO 2 content to increase the Curie point of the composite ceramic samples shifted towards low dielectric constant, the dielectric loss, the dielectric can be scheduled accordingly changes, the K value of the sample presentation first increased to a maximum, and then declined gradually trend. CeO 2 content of 0.2% of the sample having good dielectric properties.
