Abstract


In this study, by adding a point of view before the mental rotation task learning tasks to explore angles learning priming effect on mental rotation , and the role of age differences in this process and strategy of the explorer , so as to improve people 's mental rotation ability some of the methods and measures . In this paper, the letter R image and manpower images as experimental materials were 30 junior middle school students and 30 adult mental rotation ability to inspect , investigate the following issues : a mental rotation task in two different materials , angles learning the specific impact on mental rotation . Two visits angle learning task priming effects of the mental rotation task differences between the adult and junior middle school students . Explore strategies on mental rotation and priming effects in mental rotation tasks . The results are as follows : (1) two mental rotation experiments have proven classic mental rotation experiment conclusion that mental rotation tasks angle effect . ( 2) letter R as experimental material , mental rotation ability showing age differences in , manpower as experimental material , mental rotation ability is not showing age differences . ( 3 ) letter R as experimental material for the first day group test angle learning produced a significant priming effect on mental rotation adults , which showed that the angle learning the mental rotation start showing age differences . The manpower as experimental material , found no priming effect . ( 4 ) different materials experiments with different strategies , strategy plays an important role in the mental rotation of the priming effect . As experimental material with the letter R , who started the trial with the adult group were generally adopt the strategy of the object as a frame of reference , but the two groups were used to determine method distinct adult groups use more abstract judgment method. The manual image as experimental material , the first day group trial with adult group were overall strategy itself as a frame of reference , and the two groups were specific judgments consistent .
