Abstract


Tourism ethics education is one of important parts for tourism higher education .It is of great significance for the training of high-level tourism management talents. But it is not given effective importance at present; there are many problems about it. In the thesis, the author does research respectively using questionnaire and interview method for the students of the three universities in Dalian, the teachers of domestic universities and tourism teaching materials widely used. It has three purposes: first is to analyze the ethical awareness of tourism students, second is to understand the status of tourism ethics education, third is to identify the case of professional ethics education materials involved in the tourism teaching material. And on the basis of them we can conclude the basic status of tourism ethics education. At last the author puts forward the suggestion about strengthening tourism ethics education from several areas of the goal of training, course structure, educational principles and means of education.The results of this article as follows:First,tourism management students knows a little about tourism ethics and tourism ethics education and the level of their ethical awareness is also low.Second, the teachers do not pay enough attention to tourism ethics education, and their teaching method is single. They have not given sufficient attention to the materials about tourism ethics education.Third, the teaching materials in books related to tourism ethics education are very rare. And the distribution of them is scattered.Fourth, schools do not give tourism ethics education to its rightful place. Tourism ethics education is neglected in professional training objective and course structure.In response to these conditions, this study puts forward the following recommendations: to update education ideas of educators and educatees; to make clear the goal of tourism ethics education; to set a more reasonable and whole ethics education courses system of the tourism management; to establish the principles of tourism ethics education; to enrich the means and methods of tourism ethics education; to strengthen the training of teachers for tourism ethics education and so on.
