Abstract


The overall design of the continuous casting machine , casting and engineering design in recent years , the emergence of a new formulation . The overall design includes caster roll out design, checking calculations, design of water throwing resistance calculation . Involving as many computationally intensive and general requirements been adjusted several times , is a more complex set of machinery and equipment design . In order to meet the requirements of the rapid development of the iron and steel enterprises , research based on modern design the overall design of the caster , the development of the overall design CAD ??software , on the assurance of the quality of the overall design of the caster , to shorten the design cycle and improve design efficiency , has important significance . Arc Slab Caster straight design , study the the caster design theory based on the development of a CAD system software of the overall design of the slab caster set based on VB2005 . In this paper, the principle and method of modular design as the guiding ideology , software development and relying on the overall design of the system of the continuous casting machine . System software design part of the development platform VisualBasic2005 for parametric design applications such as forms and controls , and improve the efficiency of application development . Portion of the drawing in AutoCAD support platform , using its powerful graphics capabilities and interface technology , application VB2005 development , automatically generate roll column . The system software can realize the following functions : ( 1) calculate the output of the main parameters of the slab caster table ; (2) and output the slab caster rollers column size table ; ( 3 ) calculate the output slab the checking calculation results of the continuous casting machine ; (4 ) calculate and graph output mechanical properties ; ( 5 ) automatic print roll out plans . Caster overall design software design calculations, checking and drawing in one , can improve the efficiency of the work of the designers , has a strong engineering applications and scalability , has a certain practical value in the production practice .
