Abstract


The companies listed in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China in 2004-2007 as the sample , empirical study of the impact of the political relations between the behavior of corporate donations . The results showed that the political relations of the executives have a significant positive impact on the level of corporate giving . The results also show that the political relations on the level of contributions is based not only on the political relations , but also by way of political relations and the level of political relations : For listed companies , the presence of political relations on behalf of the members of the class , the type of political relations will lead to the company higher levels of donor behavior, and the higher the level of political relations , donated more ; of listed companies , government officials class political relations , this layer of a special relationship of the level of the company's donation , there is no significant impact . Further research also found that , in our special transformation of economic background , the institutional environment of the company political relations donated effects exist regulating role : Company Region external institutional environment more perfect , political relations to promote the company to improve the level of contributions is the role will be significant with weakened . These conclusions for to evaluate political relations the company donation behavior as well as the inherent relationship between political relations and corporate social responsibility to provide deeper thinking .
