Abstract

In the past decades, a strong earthquake has led to major social property damage and casualties, occurred on May 12, 2008 Wenchuan earthquake caused a huge loss to our country, higher seismic design requirements. A large number of studies and actual data show that the seismic measures, to strengthen the ability of structures to resist earthquakes, and to protect people's life and property safety. Therefore, the research structure failure mechanism of the earthquake damage and destruction process, as well as seismic measures important to human survival and development. Seismograph monitoring data show that the Wenchuan earthquake has dual epicenter of the current seismic design specification, double the epicenter of ground motion and did not consider the impact of the structural performance and therefore need further validation. Introduced at the same time reflect the two-parameter damage model for structural damage assessment displacement beyond the energy dissipation effects can better reflect the damage under the law of development in the structural members in a different type of ground motions. This article describes the existing four performance-based seismic design method, and focused on the design method based on damage to introduce a variety of components and structural damage model, combined with structural finite element analysis program CANNY brief introduction to the framework structure of non-line theory and method of earthquake response analysis, and application CANNY program of a typical 9-story frame structure in Wenchuan earthquake three-dimensional nonlinear seismic response analysis, the study of the laws of structural damage, the results in Table Ming Wenchuan earthquake structural damage accumulation occurred in the first main epicenter. Wenchuan earthquake the Wolong waves further spectrum analysis showed that the earthquake two larger difference frequency of the vibration, the amplitude of the second vibration is also high, but because of its higher frequency, and operator an example structure of the group The frequency difference between the larger, so a smaller impact on the structural damage. So must be considered in the seismic design of structures, the ground motion spectrum characteristics. On the basis of previous studies, the combination of the current seismic design specification suggested a direct component target damage index-based seismic design method, and verified through a simple example of the method of application of the earthquake under the action of seismic design sex. Finally, the design formulas involved in the proposed method parameter sensitivity analysis, and the analysis results show that the demand for ductility factor is more consistent with the variation of the parameters with the actual situation, and its value is also reasonable range.
