Abstract

Wind loads and wave loads is a major offshore wind turbine tower external load . Offshore wind turbine tower height , stiffness characteristics , wind loads acting on the tower will not only its foundation tremendous overturning moment , but also caused the wind-induced vibration of the upper structure . Storms , on the other hand , load reciprocating , long-term role of the reciprocating easily lead to the bottom of the tower and foundation fatigue effect . Depth study of the offshore wind turbine tower storms load calculation method, the action effect combinations thereof is necessary. Established finite element model of a 1.5MW offshore wind turbine tower ; based on harmonic superposition method simulation of offshore wind load , structural dynamics and finite element analysis theory of the upper tower of wind-induced dynamic response analysis , and then MGLF (Moment Gust Loading Factor) method wind induced vibration coefficient and equivalent wind load . Linear wave superposition method to simulate the random wave , combined with Morison equation , derived tower withstand wave force formula ; combination mechanism of a comprehensive analysis of wind and wave loads , calculated in the wind , the waves offshore wind turbine in the combined effects the total load of the tower suffered its dynamic response . Finally, consider the different wind conditions , rain flow method using the time domain to the preparation of the tower structure to withstand the fatigue load spectrum , to determine the equivalent fatigue loads . Studies have shown that the displacement and bottoms of the top of the tower under wind loads response wind speed increases with increasing ; moment the bottom and the top of the tower acceleration larger wind-induced dynamic loads should be designed as a tower of the main control parameters. Under the combined effects of wind, waves , maximum wave loads superimposed random wind load process conditions generally control condition as a combination of load effects .
